Adding Product Categories in WooCommerce
Categories help you organise products into groups, making it easier for customers to browse.
Step 1 – Go to Categories
In the WordPress menu, go to Products → Categories.

Step 2 – Add a New Category
Fill in:

Name (e.g., Shoes, Accessories).

Slug (auto-generates, can leave blank).

Parent Category (optional).

Description (optional).
Click Add new category.

Step 3 – Assign Products to Categories
When adding/editing a product, tick the relevant categories in the right-hand sidebar.
